I chose to take a picture of my roses I got for Valentine's day...because they have this really sad look about them. (could be because I haven't given them anymore water...) But everyone wants fresh new flowers that are perky and beautiful and I found beauty in this wilted, dying rose. It reminds me of our life, and as we age we slowly but surely lose our outer beauty--and must rely on what lies inside.

Faded Love
I chose to take a picture of my roses I got for Valentine's day...because they have this really sad look about them. (could be because I haven't given them anymore water...) But everyone wants fresh new flowers that are perky and beautiful and I found beauty in this wilted, dying rose. It reminds me of our life, and as we age we slowly but surely lose our outer beauty--and must rely on what lies inside.

OOH! THEY LOOK 'DEAD'..FUNNY YOU KNOW, THAT IS WHAT HAPPENS TO LOVE WHEN YOU DON'T PUT ALL IT TAKES INTO IT TO MAKE IT WORK;IT WILL JUST DIE LIKE THIS ROSE!!
ReplyDeleteAs much as I love roses that are alive I like this picture because of what roses stand for. Whoever sent them to you felt love towards you.
ReplyDeleteaww this rose reminds me of someone who just got let down when their head held down
