Thursday Art Appr.

This is my pop can.
He sits patiently on my
wooden desk waiting and waiting and waiting for me to take him
to the recycling center.

Thursday Art Appr.

Storm chasing anyone? What an interesting cloud that followed us home from a track meet....Looks like a bird, with a HUGE tailfeather...thingy. Like a turkey? I suppose that's called their fan. So it's a bird, with a fan spread out behind him in the sky.

Thursday Post #2

Theres tape up on my ceiling so we tore up magazine pages and stuck them up there to help get the tape down.

Thursday Post #1

WEEK 16

THIS ONE IS A PICTURE OF A TREE THAT I TOOK FROM THE CAR. THE RAINDROPS ON THE CAR WINDSHIELD ALSO LOOK GOOD.
THIS IS THE SAME TREE BUT I TRIED TO GET A CLOSER UP ON THE BARK..
WELL, THIS ONE I TOOK IT BECAUSE I FOUND IT KIND OF INTERESTING TO FIND A BOTTLE OF WATER LYING OUT....

THURSDAY POST OF WEEK 14

THIS IS A PICTURE I TOOK ONE EVENING AS THE SUN WAS SETTING AND IT WAS ABOUT TO RAIN. I LIKED THE WAY THE CLOUDS WERE THAT DAY, BECAUSE IT WAS ABOUT TO RAIN SO THEY WERE DARK..
THIS IS ONE OF A FEATHER STUCK ON A WALL. I TOOK IT BECAUSE IT LOOKS CUTE AND ALSO IT MADE REMEMBER THAT THERE ARE MANY THINGS YOU CAN DO WITH A FEATHER

TUESDAY POSTS OF WEEK 14

I TOOK THE PICTURES AT THE EXPLORATION PLACE DOWNTOWN. THE ABOVE IS ONE FOR THE INDIANS USED TO CALL THE CIRCLE OF LIFE. THEY USED TO SAY THAT LIFE IS COMPRISED OF FOUR THINGS; WATER, AIR, FIRE AND EARTH. I LIKED IT BECAUSE THAT IS TRUE.. LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU GUYS THINK.
THIS ONE LOOKS KIND OF INTERESTING, IT LOOKS LIKE A BIRD STUCK ON A PIECE OF WOOD. THE REASON I TOOK IS BECAUSE IN A WAY IT REPRESENTS US IN SOCIETY, THE WAY PEOPLE LET THEMSELVES GET CHAINED TO SOME HABITS..

here are more

just the rest of the pictures

my one thing pictures

i was finally able to get the pictures off my card onto here, there the ones from that one assignment we had to do awhile back ago....maybe she wont notice :D

Tuesday Post #2

I took a really close picture of some beautiful flowers.

Tuesday Post #1

Here is a close up pictuure of a fan.

Renee Simon Tuesday observation

This is one of my favorite pictures....because the raindrops are so visible on the windshield and I just really appreciate the stark contrast of the wiper blade against the road and ditch and trees. Something about it just seems very surreal....

I took this picture while driving from Winfield to BCC, and I just really like the contrast of colors, especially how the blue-grey sky stands out against the white roof of the house and the green-brown grass. I also like the motion in the picture...everything is a little blurred. I think it's a nice touch.

Here is a pic of the highway after it had been raining, thats why it have the dark spots on it. Also i fliped it and it just made it look really neat i thought.

Here is a pic of a winp turbine in the wind fams out side of Montezuma, KS. I thought it looked cool with the storm clouds behind it.

Week 15

I had to take a picture of these orchids because they were so beautiful. I loved the contrast of the yellow against the purple.

Thursday Post #2

Hallow in a tree.

Thursday Post #1

I took a picture of these dandelions because I thought the yellow really popped against the green leaves and dead grass.

Tuesday Post #2

I thought this picture was interesting because this cute little purple flower was just randomly growing out of the leaves.

Tuesday Post #1

I took this picture standing over a candle. I think the way the flame kind of blurs the whole photo is pretty cool.

friday's performance....

30 Thurs Post

I took a picture of this flower usin the antique setting but then the let the petals keep their color. I just thought it looked like it could almost be a painting especially with the one water droplet still hanging on there.

28 Tues Post

I just thought this was a very random picture. Firstly why would someone spray paint that type of face onto a trash barrel. Usually you see words but for them to put a face with x's for eyes. Just seems really interesting. Plus the blue stands out quite a bit amongst the browns.

Thursday Blog T-TR 9:30 Amanda

Now I did not take this one, my friend did but had to put it on here because we talked about in class how hard it is to catch lightening on film.

Thursday Blog T-TR 9:30 Amanda

I just really like the colors in this picture especially the blue!

Tuesday Blog T-TR 9:30 Amanda

There were so many shapes and patterns with the hay bales and the lines from the fence and the fields in the background.

Blog for Tuesday Amanda 9:30 T-Tr

You can never go wrong with a sunset picture. I thought you could see the movement of the clouds in this picture.

Week 14 Amanda T-TR 9:30

I went home with a friend this weekend....this was taken from a combine I liked how the lines were leading into the sky like a vanishing point type effect.

rain drops

i used the negative on my camera and took this picture of rain drops hitting the windshield

best sky picture ever!

this was right before the rain started to come in i think its possibly the best sky picture ever

Sierra Liddell Week #14

I saw in a store and thought the pattern was interesting. I think it made a cool picture.

Diving Bell & The Butterfly-By: Mara Peterson

Once again very blurred vision type.

Diving Bell & The Butterfly-By: Mara Peterson

The glare in this picture looks like a blurred vision.

Trunk(layered)By:Mara.P.

Layers in tree trunks are always interesting.

Week 14

I liked how you can almost see different layers in this picture.

Morgan Plummer

This is a picture I took of one of the girls tutus at the dance concert.

Nature(layered)By-Mara.P.

This is how nature is layered.

This is a pic of when I was driving back to eldorado and it was raining. I thought it looked really cool how the water was running up the windshield from the wind.

Blue Feathers(layered)-By: Mara.P.

Even though this is just a feather duster the picture is still awesome.

week 14

I was walking outside trying to figure out what to take a picture of and thought it would be a good idea to take a picture of a live and dead dandelion beside eachother.

WO 14 Renee Simon

As we were leaving a track meet Saturday, on our way back to good 'ole BCC from Southwestern in Winfield, the storm reeeeeally started to get bad. Of course we were all taking pictures because there was supposed to be a tornado, [we missed it, sadly,] but I took this picture, and decided it looks kind of like a mountain upside down...?

Week 14

Saw this graffiti and it reminded me of the videos about the artists that put the graffiti on the train. Put a different affect on the picture and I thought it made it the art pop a little more.

Renee Simon WO 12 or 13

I took this photo walking down the sidewalk, with my eyes on the ground. I love how the circle is patterned, and how it says "WATER" on it [whatever this thing is, I think they can pump water out of it?] but the ground surrounding is so dry and crunchy looking. There are pine needles and dust, which is ironic, signifying a lack of water.
