Sierra Liddell Week #10

This picture is really interesting to me. I really like how the branches and leaves look like ice. Its cool to see the icicles forming off the branches too. Having lived in Florida my entire life this was very new to me!

these were hanging outside my house and took a picture, im lucky to be alive from taking this picture they could of fell on me :D. but anyways i like how they are diffident sizes, nor two are alike

I took this pic during this last ice storm. I thought it was really neat with the ice on the tree and crazy that there was so much ie that it made it break, thought it looked really cool.

Goose Cage

Another zoo picture! I thought it was funny the way this cage didn't have any animals in it but the gease decided to land in it. I always wondered where they kept them..lol I actually took this photo because of the waterfall. But when taking the photo the reflection in the glass made a cool design at the bottom of the photo.

Bent Steel Week 10(?)

This structure reminded me alot of Richard Serra. I've been posting mostly pictures of nature so I thought I'd switch it up and try to post something a little different.

Some may look at this picture and and just think it's just some water, rock, sticks, and leaves, but I really think this picture is beautiful. I really like how the picture makes the water bounce off all the rocks and yet it also looks like the water is still.

I know what you're thinking--this is gross! But I think it's kinda interesting looking at the closeup of my skin where you can see all those tiny cracks and lines like a small desert.

Week 10 - Eyes in the Sand

I like this picture because it was staged yet it still looks rather neat. It looks like we all just got up and left really quick and just left everything where it was.

Week 9 - Old pier in water

I really like how a piece of the old pier is out in the middle of the water. I also like how this is a action shot as well. The old rusty metal draws my eyes to that corner yet I still think about the water in the background.

Week 8 - Foam and rocks

I like how this is more of an action shot. I also like how the water swells around the rocks and how it flows through the cracks in the rocks.

Week 7 - Blowing sand

This picture was taken in Texas.I like how the sand is blowing and how the water is in the very bottom corner. The sand making lines is what makes this so interesting for me to look at.

Week 6 - Pier in the distance

I also took this picture in Texas. I like this one because of the sand blowing and also how the pier is a straight line in the distance.

Week 5 - Waves coming in

I took this picture over spring break at Matagorda Bay in Texas.

I like it because of the waves coming in and the sand being blown around.

You can see the sun setting a long with a creepy tree. Just a pic that I took on the road.

Prisioners

I also took this photo at the zoo. I just think the pinguins are so cute but its a shame to have them locked up. And the way i took the photo through the chain link fence makes them look like prisioners.

I think this pic is awesome! As i was driving in the rain i just took a pic of the window an just so happened that it got the side mirror and it looks really neat and you can also see a car in the mirror as well.

Tropical Beauty

I was at the zoo when I captured this image. I just thought the way the bird was so peaceful surrounded by all the vibrant plants was beautiful.

These clouds are from the same storm but as i got closer to them you could see more different colors such as pinks and purples. I thought they were just really pretty.

This is a pic of storm clouds. I like it because it is dark on the bottom and it gets lighter as you go to the top of them from the way that the sun is shinning on them.

Here is another pic of the mountains that I also thought was really neat. You can see that they are all covered in SNOW!

This is a pic that I took when I was on my way to Denver, CO. I thought that the clouds looked really neat and you can also see the mountains at the bottom in the distance.

Rainbow

I took this picture, because I noticed how beautiful the rainbow is eventhough the sky is dark and gloomy.

Sky High

I was looking up at the sky and thought that the space in between the clouds looked like a lake. It also looks like there are reflections, which makes it look even more like water.

Stacked Water

When I went to Kansas City over spring break, I found this fountain and decided to take a picture of it. Later when I was looking at the pictures I noticed that the water was shooting out and you could see the different levels.

White Tree

I saw this tree in a park and thought it was very interesting. It looks like there is snow on it, but there actually isn't. It also helps seeing the other trees around it that aren't white.
